I can’t express to you, how lucky you are to have met my best friend, well now I guess they’re your best friend. While I am immensely sad that I am not with them, I feel better knowing they have people who love and take care of their heart. I know that in the time of making new friends and moving, our entire lives have shifted and while I can’t always be there for them when I want to, having you there to help them gives me peace.

They will make you laugh until you cry and make your abs hurt, but they will also be there for you when you’re crying and need a hug from someone who genuinely loves you. They will love you like a sister, like a brother, like a mom, or anything else you need, they will be there. They will not judge you and will always be honest with you and tell you the truth, and not just what you want to hear. This only because they love you. One of the most treasurable things about my best friend is that they will always be present, be genuine, and loving, this, as you know, is hard to come by nowadays. I know my best friend only chooses the best people to surround themselves with and truly trust, so don’t take advantage of that. Whenever you need someone to be there for you, I know my best friend would drop anything to make you feel better, because that is how much they care. Now that you know this, do the same for them. Be the best friend I wish I could be from states away.

I did not deserve to have them as my best friend. I didn’t deserve the endless love, attention, and kindness that they gave me, and neither do you, but that is why we love them so much. So enjoy our best friend and all the adventures life throws at you when you are together.
