Dear Best Friend,

Thank you.

Thank you for being the one person I can count on through everything.

Thank you for calling me out on the stupid things I do.

Thank you for the countless hugs and kisses on my cheek.

Thank you for making me laugh even when I knew I couldn't.

Thank you for talking on the phone with me for hours.

Thank you for going to so many concerts with me.

I love you.

I love you because you know me so well.

I love you because you make me laugh until I snort.

I love you because you are there for me when no one else is.

I love you because you listen to me rant about pointless things.

I love you because you make the worst but funniest jokes.

I love you because I can talk to you about anything.

I just thought you should know that I appreciate and cherish every memory we've ever shared. You're not just my best friend, you're my sister. Whenever you need a shoulder to cry on, I'm here. Whenever you need a person to punch because you're feeling angry, I'm here. These past 9 years with you will forever mean the world to me. Your silly names and funny noises make me smile on the saddest days. Here's to the hours spent in the city doing nothing. Here's to the random sleepovers at each other's houses. Here's to the "play" fights we have almost all the time. Here's to the FaceTime calls that go on for hours.

I love that people still think we're sisters and we go along with it... or that time that woman thought you were my daughter. I don't think I can get along with anyone as much as I do with you. The funny part is, I didn't think of you as my "best friend" until recently. I knew we were close but I just thought, "we're cousins and we're close that's cool". But, now I know. I know what to say when someone asks me who my best friend is. I don't even have to think about how many friends I have and do I really have "just one best friend". I do, it's you.

You're two years younger than me, and that doesn't change a thing. I love you forever and always. Thanks for being my best friend.

Love,

Your Best Friend

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
