I know middle school is tough. If you're wondering if life gets easier, it does. This is only temporary... And soon, you won't even remember these three years. But in the mean time, here's some advice from your future self:
Don't listen to criticism.
The other kids are mean, and sometimes make you feel like you're less of a person because you don't "fit in." Keep your head up. You're beautiful.
Stop comparing yourself.
It's easy to see the other girls and how skinny they look, but embrace your curves. Soon, you'll wonder how you could have ever hated them.
Go to the dance.
So what if none of the boys asked you? Go with a friend and have fun! You'll regret not going... Trust me.
Try out for cheerleading or for another sport team.
Do something fun! Don't be afraid of taking chances.
I'm proud of you.
Thank you for staying true to your beliefs, even at such a young age. You learned early on how important it is to remain steadfast in your faith and in yourself. I can't thank you enough for that. Instead of getting lost in the crowd, you were you. It may stink being lonely right now, but you've got some pretty great friends coming later in life. Just keep the faith and keep your eyes on Jesus.
Enjoy the next three years. They'll fly by, and before you know it, you'll be in college looking back and wondering where the time went.
