Hey there,

So seems you have stolen my best friend's heart. That alone makes you extra special. Now I am sure you know that my best friend, your future, is not just an ordinary person. I would be lying if I said I was not just a tad bit jealous that you stole time away from me and my best friend. Although, I have forgiven both you and her for it because watching your guy's love blossom has been an amazing experience. I have sat and listened as you were talked about as a crush and now her person for life.

You have to understand that there is a reason I am so overprotective over her. I have watched, listened, and held her over countless jerks. I have been there through the worst and the best. She deserves the best and clearly that is what you are. I will admit that I am obligated to take her side, but as her best friend I will tell her when she's overreacting.

I also want to thank you for being everything she imagined. Thank you for proving me and her both wrong that not everyone is the same. Thank you for appreciating her for all she is. Thank you for being everything she needed.

Thank you for realizing that sometimes we need friend days without you. Thanks for letting me tag along to trips with you both. I know I may overstep some boundaries and I'm sure there are moments when you want me to leave. But I was here first and sometimes I just understand faster than you.

This being said I want to let you know that it's really okay if you text me about her. I totally don't mind helping you with gifts and advice. We have something in common, a best friend.

I saved the best for last...If you hurt her, I will hurt you. The vegenance of a best friend is something you don't want to endure so just keep that in mind.
