Imagine being apart from your very best friend for most of your life…yeah it would suck wouldn’t it? Well here is a letter to the Christina Yang to my Meredith Grey.

Dear BFF,

I know we have been about three and half hours away from each other for the better part of our lives, but I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for the endless phone calls, FaceTime calls, and texts. Thank you for letting me text you 5338745985729 times in a row. Thank you for sending me a thousand snapchats when I accidentally leave you on read. Thank you for giving me hugs even though you hate them. Thank you for screaming T-Swift songs at the top of your lungs any chance you get. Thank you for telling me I’m wrong even when I think I’m right. But most importantly thank you for being a sister to me. You truly are the Christina Yang to my Meredith Grey.

I can’t say thank you enough times for all the things you do for me. Even though we are many miles apart, I could not imagine calling anyone else my number one. We might not talk every day and that’s okay. I know you’re still there for me when I need you…even though I’m sure we do talk every day because we are like a couple who text 24/7. You have been by my side through a lot. You have heard me cry on the phone more times than I care to admit, and each time you tell me to put on my big girl panties and get through it, and those are the times I wish we weren’t long distance BFF’s. There is no one I would take a wrong turn with and had to drive three hours to get back on track, or eat candy with, or go watch movies, or go on wild adventures with. You are my person and I am forever grateful for all the laughs, tears, and rants. I honestly do not know who I would be without you. Now I know you’re not into this gooey feeling mess I’m writing you, but you’re just going to have to get over it, okay? I love you more thank you will ever know.

Love,

Your #1

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
