Humans are curious in nature and we all love to do our own things. Some have more hobbies than others but most of us have at least one or two things that we really enjoy doing. For some people, this is reading, writing, etc.
But don't start looking for a job pertaining to your hobby.
The moment you start getting paid and required to do things that you enjoy in your alone time leads to exhaustion and lack of identity. You can no longer do things you enjoy without someone critiquing and possibly even firing you over. Allow yourself to not be defined by your hobbies. You are no longer doing it for yourself but instead for everyone else.
If you are so inclined to get a job pertaining to your hobby, make sure that you have other hobbies that aren't related to your job. Everyone needs something to do away from work that lets them relax and not have to worry about work-related things.
Everything nowadays is work, work, work, with little to no free time in between. That should not be the case. People should have time to enjoy themselves and participate in hobbies that are unrelated to what they do for 8+ hours a day.
People should be allowed to have lives outside of work that is just for them to enjoy. We all hear about our professional lives and our personal lives. The line needs to be divided somewhere. The two should not be mixed at any time.
So pick up a hobby that is just for you to enjoy and don't worry about where it will take you in life because some things are meant to be just cherished by one person. Life is too stressful as is so it is nice to take a step back and relax and enjoy some fun hobbies.
