She is the girl that says every song is her favorite. Because she relates with them all in a different way.
She is the girl that assumes something is wrong when she catches you staring. Because she doesn't believe you could just want to look at her.
She is the girl whose eyes light up when she talks about the things that she loves. Because she puts her whole heart into everything she does.
That includes you.
If you are lucky enough to have a girl like this in your life, make sure you are ready for the life she wants. She wants a family, a best friend, and stability. She wants to know that when she comes home from work (because she is an independent woman with an ambitious career path), that you will be there ready to handle the breakdown that may ensue. She wants a loving husband and an amazing daddy to her children. She wants an adventure partner and a binge-watching buddy. Someone who will laugh with her and make silly faces, but also know when she doesn't want to talk and when it's necessary to be serious.
So if you're not ready to grow up, or to take on responsibilities. If you don't want the life she dreams of, if it scares the crap out of you, then let her go.
Let her be by herself until the right man comes along. One that can handle all of the beauty she has and the person she will be. Let her chase her dreams with no fear of what tomorrow holds. Let her find the strength and courage she had deep within her all along. Let her live the life she was made for.
She will hate you. She will cry and her heart will be broken. She will question what she did wrong. She'll play back every moment you spent together and search for answers. But eventually...
She will thank you. She will see the worth and potential she has. She will see that you couldn't be what she needed right then. You weren't ready for who she was, or the impact that she would have on your life. And that will finally be okay.
So don't crush her spirit. Don't hold her back from the greatness she will achieve. Don't waste her time causing attachment and trust issues. Don't make her small so that you can be comfortable. Save both of yourselves the heartbreak that is to come down the road.
She will be everything she imagined for herself and more, so let her go.
