Are you a college student in desperate need of a Halloween costume but are too broke to go out and buy a costume? Then this is the list for you. These are things found straight from your closet and they're easy to put together.
1) Rosie The Riveter
All you need is white shoes, jeans, a red bandana, and a blue/ jean shirt. Plus the make up and hair is easy too. For your makeup, it should be very natural with a touch of red lipstick. And hair should be pulled back in a bun with a bump in the front and the bandana tied around your head.
2) Eleven from Stranger Things
Now if you don't know who this is then you need to go to Netflix and watch it right now. But this costume is super easy. All you need is a pink dress, a white collar, some high knee socks, white hightops, a blue coat, and maybe some fake blood. For makeup you could darken under your eyes and put some blood dripping from your nose and/or ears. Your hair is easy, either get a blonde wig or pull your hair back in a low ponytail and hid it in your coat so you look bald.
3) Cat
Now this is the easiest of them all in my opinion. All you need is a black shirt, black pants, black shoes, and cat ears. For your makeup all you'll need is whiskers, a nose, and cat eye eyeliner. The easiest part is that you can do whatever with your hair!
4) Cowgirl
All you need is a flannel, jeans, a hat (optional), and cowboy boots or boots that can pass as cowboy boots. Your make up you can do natural or you can add some freckles. You can leave your hair down or put your hair in pigtail braids.
5) 90's Grunge
We all know this style and I'm sure we all have this in the closet. All you need is a flannel, jean shorts or leather skirt, black tights, a plain shirt, a jacket (optional), boots, and a choker. Now there are so many hairstyles. You could do space buns, just down and straight or really curly, pigtail buns, any 90's hairstyle. Makeup can be as smudgy as you want on the eyes and a dark lip. Don't forget the eyeliner! That's the most important.
6) Wednesday Adams
Now we all know The Adams Family and Wednesday. All you need is black, black and more black. Black dress with a collar, black tights, and black flats. Your makeup should be pale and almost no color in the face or lips. For your hair, just put it in two braided pigtails, the part straight down the middle.
Now if you can't make any of these costumes from your closet than just dress up in normal clothes and call yourself a student. It may not be a great costume but that's all you have. I know I'm awful with procrastinating with costumes so I go to these things all the time. They're cheap too! So look through your closet and get cracking!
