Ever since I saw, "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," I have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of "The Last Jedi" and it certainly did not disappoint. I won’t spoil anything for those who have not yet seen this delightful film, but I was INCREDIBLY excited to see a few folks!

1. Billie Lourd

As an avid "American Horror Story" fan, Season 7’s Winter was a great delight to see on-screen. I also was unaware until looking it up afterward, but Lourd is Carrie Fisher’s daughter. Although she had a small role, it was really cool seeing her rocking some adorable space buns in the movie.

2. BB8

BB8 is literally my favorite droid and will forever have a place in my heart. He is adorable and really funny and I was so glad to see him rolling his way around the galaxy again.

3. Kylo Ren

Kylo Ren can literally father my children. He’s been one of my favorites for a while and his conflicted dark side persona only gets more attractive in this movie. 11/10 would definitely join the dark side for him.

4. Laura Dern

Laura Dern has been someone that I seriously appreciate ever since she played Hazel’s mom in "The Fault In Our Stars." It took me a moment to realize it was her, but indeed, Laura Dern is featured in this movie with some rockin’ purple hair.

5. Rose

Female lead! Female lead! Female lead! Star Wars added another female lead to the mix. Her appearance in the movie is much like Finn’s in that she goes from background character to lead as she works with Finn and The Resistance. She's badass, killer smart, and a really great addition to the team.

6. The Porg

*"The Force Awakens" spoiler* At the conclusion of the last movie, Rey travels across the galaxy to finally locate Luke Skywalker on a faraway planet. The planet is lush and beautiful but the real stars of the show are some adorable bird-like creatures called porgs that live on the planet. They are literally the cutest ever and I would like to snuggle one.

7. The Vulptex

Another adorable galaxy creature, the vulptex — although notably less cuddly — is aww-worthy as heck. They appear to be ice foxes and their crystal fur is strikingly lovely. I also would appreciate a pet vulptex.

8. Rey

Rey literally has my heart. She is a phenomenal example of a female lead and she gets some mad character development going in this movie, even more so than her introduction in "The Force Awakens." I’m really excited to see where she’ll go from here, but I was very excited to see her in general.

9. Princess Leia

After Carrie Fisher’s recent death, it was comforting and mildly unsettling to see her in the film. This was obviously filmed before her death, however. Leia is still the most badass old lady in the galaxy and even in her old age, she’s still out there doing the damn thing. Go, Princess Leia!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
