Lander Mass Communications Takes On Philadelphia: CBI 2016

This past week, a group of students and professors from the Mass Communication department travelled to Philadelphia for the annual College Broadcasters, Inc. convention. This convention is held to recognize student media outlets around the country, such as campus news and radio stations. There were over 960 entries in 24 categories, including senior Mass Communication major, Sydney Wells, who was chosen as a finalist to represent Lander University. She took third place in the Best Audio Documentary category while competing with a piece produced by students at MIT. This is just a quick overview of our trip with a slight tribute throughout.
