Hi! I really don’t know what to write here, because, believe it or not, I don’t know much about myself. I guess I’ll start with saying that I’m Courtney Johnson, a 19 year-old child and family development major. I’m studying in the child life emphasis area, which I think is beyond cool because then I’ll have all I need to become a child life specialist. Those are people who work with hospital bound kids (with cancer, cystic fibrosis, etc.), and make their time here on Earth just a little more rad than it normally would be.
I’m from Mauk, Ga., which is basically an invisible piece of land that nobody ever finds, and while I’m home from college my life is full of dirt roads, family and, well, anything else that might come along.
So, yeah, let's get on to some random things you might like to know about me.
1. I never stop talking, it's the truth.
2. I have an overwhelming obsession with Gilmore Girls.
3. I love to cook eggs, but I don't eat them.
4. I can't correctly pronounce the word orange.
5. I have 14 first cousins -- and that's just on my mom's side.
6. I have loved Cole Swindell since my sophomore year of high school. I dream of meeting him one day.
7. I read even more than I talk -- that's a lot.
8. I plan to write a book, one day, but don't ask me what it's gonna be about because I have no idea.
9. My iTunes library has, like, 3,000 songs and I secretly freak out every time I sync my iPod, in fear that it won’t hold all of my music.
10. My favorite movie is "A Walk to Remember," which seems super cliché.
11. I'm beyond excited to be a part of the Odyssey, and can't wait to get started!
