As you walk around the United States you may, or not be surprised by what you see. As one walks down streets through towns and cities poverty is everywhere. People struggle in every area you travel through some in different ways, people of every race, gender, and age struggle with something. It is agreed by everyone that our country is in a desperate time. I have created a solution, a modest proposal if you will.
There is a struggling people in our country because of the oppression they have faced. So I, a want to be liberal arts student has come up with an idea. What if we turn on people, what if we walk into work one day and all of us ban together to say that there is a group of people with a privilege over us. We should rise up against our oppressors and stare down the face of the lion only to turn them against themselves. Yes, a brilliant plan this is. We divide them up, we make them hate each other, then we find a common enemy. A particular group from the privileged for all to hate. Well, it can’t be the women, the women have fought too hard for their rights we can not attack them and say they have privilege and oppress us. We can’t use liberals either they are the key to all of this, they think they make the world better but indeed all they are are a few pawns to turn against the others. What does that leave? Well, that’s easy, the White Male Conservative.
The White Male Conservative, a nomad at best. Set in his ways and will not change. They are a fairly religious people, they believe in capitalism and that it is important to make money. Their unwillingness to change means that they will fight hard, but we can call them bigots and racists if they dare to defy us. When one of them slips up there will be a nation wide outcry but not to help them, but to help us. If one of us goes down we will claim it against us all. The White Conservative Male will have no jurisdiction over us.
Here’s how this works, when something bad happens and we begin to cry out we will “peaceful protest” These will infuriate them… oh yes. Our protests will be big! Bold! and Seen everywhere! We will burn down their shops! put symbols in public places! and use the media to manipulate the young! The youth is important. If we raise them right their young moldable minds will easily be persuaded to our cause. The liberals will begin to hate the conservatives and vice versa. They will start wearing symbols on their clothing to remind them that they should feel ashamed.
Eventually, the Conservative White Male will have little power. We can ignore them they will be weaker and less powerful and that is when we finish them. See we don’t stop there, for years they fought and then tried to do their best while we slowly turned things around and gave ourselves the easy path to the top. We will round them up and send them to small areas where they can easily be watched, but only the troublesome people at first. We don’t want people to question too much. Once they are all rounded up we will begin to get the rest. We will put them in slums let them struggle. Then we will send them and all that try to help them to camp.
The camps will be laborious as we try to rehabilitate them and correct their point of view. Of course though as I have already said they are stubborn and therefore they must be gotten rid of, but how? We need to be efficient, we need to run tests on them find out things about the body for further advancement. Of course, we can be as inhumane as we want because if anyone says anything we will throw them in as well. We will advance our society on the destruction of the White Male Conservative and of course his wife and children because they associate too much with him and may be tainted. The killing of them will be the only way to truly solve the problem. As I said though it will have to be efficient, we will have to test to see what the best way is.
With the White Male Conservative out of the way we will advance our technology around the country we will watch everything, nothing will be done without our knowledge. We will rule the country and get rid of these much less desirable people. All because we made people feel bad for us and claimed issues to be worse than they were while seeking the easy way to success, rather than having a few simple conversations because conversations would make us equal rather than greater.
