Kate McKinnon recently impersonated actress Kristen Stewart in a segment called "Celebrity Family Feud" on Saturday Night Live. Much like the actual television show of the same name, the skit mimics the game show in a more comedic fashion, in which Kenan Thompson plays the role of Steve Harvey and various SNL cast members and guest stars play an array of celebrities. Although McKinnon did not have many lines, she was able to capture the essence of Stewart, a personality which is perhaps more accurately portrayed by coherently saying as little as possible. McKinnon managed to emphasize and dramatize Stewart's often hesitant and scattered way of speaking, appearing consistently frazzled and caught off guard. The comedienne conveyed this by echoing Stewart's notorious gasps of disbelief, which always make it seem as if she has never been prepared to answer any question thrown at her, no matter how simple. While I do admire Kristen Stewart as a person and an actress, I was thrilled by McKinnon's performance, which effectively exaggerated Stewart's extremely noticeable quirks.
