Is he arrogant? Of course he is.

I'm not sure how mainstream the news regarding Kanye West's rant on Twitter are, but I feel like words need to be written about it. Honestly, I'm sure his rant really is not significant to anyone at all and no one gave even a second glance to his tweets, but there will always be a group of people that are going to be offended or taken aback every time a celebrity does something brash. Well, I'm here to discuss Kanye West, his rant(s), and the appropriate reactions to these rants.

First of all, people need to understand that Kanye West is a mega millionaire superstar with support all over the globe. Any individual who goes from being a regular human to being a worldwide inspiration will have an ego boost. It's only natural. You can't honestly tell me that if one day you were suddenly transformed from your boring self to a worldwide superstar, with millions of people screaming your name at sold-out shows across the world, that you wouldn't feel a little proud of yourself. No, you can't say that because of course you would be proud. Any sane human being would be, so stop attacking Kanye for allowing himself to enjoy his fame.

Second of all, Kanye West is not a dumb person. He knows exactly what reaction he is going to get out of you when he says the things he does. It's kind of the same logic that a young child uses to get attention from their parents. You know that when you act like an idiot, they pay attention to you. The kid just doesn't understand that it is the wrong type of attention. Well, Kanye doesn't care about what type of attention he is receiving. Mainly because he knows no matter what he says there will always be people stupid enough to support his words, and also because he doesn't care about what other people think about him. He's going to get more attention and make more money this way. Like I said, he is not stupid.

Finally, is he arrogant? Of course he is. I mean the guy more or less built his name on being the cocky rapper that puts out good music, doesn't give a rat's ass what other people say, and thinks of himself as a god (Yeezus.) I mean the guy literally bets on people paying attention to his arrogance. Yes, he is arrogant. Yes, he is rude. Yes, he is cocky. People, he's Kanye friggin' West. That will always be a part of who he is. Kanye is going to be 95 years old and will brag about the fact that he only had his diaper changed twice instead of three times because he believes it makes him better than you. It's in his DNA, it isn't changing, stop expecting it to.

So Kanye will be Kanye: a rude multimillionaire who plays in sold-out shows across the world and has a following of millions of people who hang onto every word. Kanye West is smart and he knows that he has a culture supporting him. Don't get me wrong, I know how talented he is. He is an extremely gifted artist who has his own unique way of expressing himself and his music. Does it get offensive? Absolutely, but don't ever expect it to change. Kanye will be Kanye until the day he dies. If you really want to get back at him for offending you, don't talk about what he does. The less publicity he gets using these techniques the less he will do this. As for me, I'll be listening to "The Life of Pablo" praying that the world gets a lot less sensitive in 2016. Y'all need to lighten up and live your own life. Don't worry so much and start enjoying each breath while you are still here.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
