"'Cause life's not easy, I'm not made out of steel. Don't forget that I'm human, don't forget that I'm real. Act like you know me, but you never will. But there's one thing that I know for sure, I'll show you."
Justin Bieber isn't as bad of a person as everyone makes him out to be. I try not to be very biased due to the fact I have supported him since the beginning of his career, but he is a young celebrity that makes mistakes just like every other human does. As a celebrity, every mistake you make is heightened and put on blast in the spotlight. JB grew up dealing with fame and that isn't an easy task to do. One can be very quick to think that being famous isn't hard and it's all glamorous, but the sad reality of it is that it isn't like that at all. Many other celebrities have made their own mistakes but because he's THE Justin Bieber, the one many young girls look up to, it's relatively easy to make it into a bigger issue than it should be. With every single one of us being a teen at one point, we all know we have made some dumb choices. He has battled problems with his mental health too and he truly made a comeback for himself although he had a lot of stuff going on his life. Many have expected to see him fall due to the fact that growing up into fame isn't easy, as many childhood stars have lost themselves and proved that. I can say I'm really proud of him for his comeback and I think many others can agree with me on that.
With his voice getting stronger over the years, there is no denying that he has real talent. Besides the fact he can play four instruments, his vocals are amazing. Many tend to overlook this fact and think that he's just where he is today because of "young obsessed girls." He has grew out of the teeny bop phase and even with his voice deepening with age, he has shown that his vocals have greatly improved. He has had acoustic albums and outstanding live performances where he wasn't lip syncing. This is one of my favorite recent performances of his. Despite the fact that I think most people know this, JB came from little to nothing. He used to sit on the steps of a theatre in his town where he grew up and play his guitar/sing for money to help his mother out. He likes to pay his success forward to the kids who live the way he used to because he knows exactly what it feels like. He has made over 250 wishes to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. This foundation helps children with life-threatening illnesses and works with them so that their dreams can come true. One dollar from every single concert ticket he sells also goes to the foundation. On top of that, he has donated millions total to charity but it is not something that is often talked about because it seems he likes to keep it lowkey.
