Love him or hate him, there is no denying that Justin Bieber's newest single "Sorry" is unbelievably catchy. Co-produced by Skrillex and Blood, the horns and "oooh's" of the chorus make for an extremely persistent ear-worm. The just-released video, too, is cheerful and exciting, with a dance crew from New Zealand shaking their bodies in seemingly impossible ways, while rocking bright, neon clothing. Hello, last-minute Halloween costume!
Bieber's new song does have many fans speculating what exactly Bieber is apologizing for. He certainly has a multitude of bad behaviors and bratty attitudes he could be singing about--is he pleading for forgiveness over his DUI (and his nerve to smile in his mugshot)? Perhaps he is apologizing for peeing in a bucket at a restaurant and cursing Bill Clinton? Maybe he's addressing his long time on-again-off-again ex, Selena Gomez. Or maybe Bieber is atoning for all of the above-- sending a mass apology to his fans, his ex, and everyone he ever ticked off.
We forgive you, Biebs. Your new song is too catchy to be mad anymore!
