Every once in a while I come across a good quote that really fits my mood. It either inspires me, comforts me, or helps me realize things about myself and about my life. I usually write those down in a notebook I keep in my room, and I also like to write articles about them. I hope that me listing these quotes helps you, and I hope for you these quotes become something meaningful. If not, I hope one day you see one on here that inspires you to keep going.

Here are some more of those.

1. "Say it before you run out of time. Say it before it's too late. Say what you're feeling. Waiting is a mistake."

2. "You don't realize how quickly everything can fall apart until it does. Makes you never want to give up anything good ever again."

3. "There is no perfect. There will always be struggle. You just have to pick who you want to struggle with."

4. "I opened my mouth, almost said something. Almost. The rest of my life might have turned out differently if I had. But I didn't."

5. "Tomorrow could be the someday you've been waiting for."

6. "If you could be anyone, would you choose to be yourself?"

7. "Real love doesn't meet you at your best, it meets you at your mess."

8. "There's a whole world out there waiting for you. Great cities and art and music. Genuine beauty, and you can have all of it."

9. "There are moments which mark your life. Moments when you realize nothing will ever be the same, and time is divided into two parts, before this, and after this. Sometimes you can feel such a moment coming. That's the test, or so I tell myself. I tell myself that at times like that, strong people keep moving forward anyway, no matter what they're going to find."

10. "You get what anybody gets, you get a lifetime."

11. "I am sure that God keeps no one waiting unless he sees that it is good for him to wait."

12. "I will be okay, and so will you."

13. "I just love the thought that great things are coming. No matter what you're currently going through, there's so much to look forward to."

14. "I already left behind people who I never imagined living without. But here I am, living."

15. "I let it go. It's like swimming against the current. It exhausts you. After a while, whoever you are, you just have to let go, and the river brings you home."

So even if these quotes normally mean nothing to you, I hope if you read this, they make a difference today.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
