There is nothing more exciting than taking a vacation. The kind of vacation where you explore new places and take on new adventures. But sometimes the process of taking a vacation can be stressful but you have to remember that you're about to take a break from stress. That's the whole point of a vacation, right? We all know that you have to save, plan and go. That is the three most important things to remember when wanting a vacation. There are some of us who don't save a bunch, just enough to have a bed and shower for the night and explore! So, pack up your car and go! This past year I was lucky enough to take two vacations. My boyfriend and I packed up my car and traveled along Lake Michigan all the way up to Lake Superior. We stayed in two unplanned hotels and one planned hotel. We didn't really have a travel plan, we just drove and googled places to go, but ultimately ended up at the Pictured Rocks in the UP. On our way back down we took the other side of Michigan along Lake Huron and made our back to Lake Erie. This unplanned vacation was the most fun I have had in years! To me it was all about the adventure and just going with the flow. But always expect the unexpected and just keep driving. Which is what we did again all way down to Savannah. Longest. Drive. Ever. But again, worth the adventure!

Just keep driving, just keep driving.

Never be afraid to just drive and never be afraid to take the adventure that you have been wanting. The adventure that you have secretly been planning but have no real plan for. There is nothing wrong with being selfish sometimes and taking time for yourself! "Me time" is very important in our lives and if you're in your 20s now is the time for "me time"! We are always accused of being a selfish generation, along with many other things, so why not be selfish from time to time! Taking a vacation is all about you, and whoever you travel with, and that is it. It's not about anyone else, it's not anyone's opinion who you go with, where you go, how you spend your money, or anything! The most important thing to remember about packing up your car and just going is to pack everything that is important for your trip!

This summer I learned something very important while doing my CHAARG fit plan and that is to say yes to new adventures. I have always been afraid to say to things unfamiliar to me, but I'm 24! This is the time for me to say yes, to explore, learn and see the world! Well, maybe I'll start with the states. Traveling has always been so important to me and I have always wanted to travel with my camera. But it's hard to travel when you have bills, a pet and a job. But I need it, we need it, everyone needs to travel. It's what keeps us going, it's what keeps us full and loving life. Traveling is so important in todays society as many people are becoming minimalist which makes it easier to travel. People are exploring new cities, new states and countries, discovering new islands, and learning different cultures!

Don't you want to see, learn and explore? Well you can! All you have to do is have some kind of plan and pack up the car and go!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
