JoJo Really Won Season 20 Of 'The Bachelor'

Well, at least in my opinion.

JoJo Really Won Season 20 Of 'The Bachelor'

So we all know that the beautiful Lauren Bushnell was proposed to by Ben Higgins on the most recent season of "The Bachelor." But the equally beautiful Joelle “JoJo” Fletcher was left waiting alone, after Ben decided he didn't want to get engaged to her.

It was revealed on the season finale, however, that JoJo would be the next Bachelorette. She may not have technically “won” "The Bachelor" and Ben’s heart, but I think she still won the show: She got a whole other show out of it AND another shot at love.

While I have many problems with "The Bachelor" because of how it’s basically girls fighting for a man’s attention, I still love the franchise dearly. Plus, who doesn’t want to look at a group of gorgeous men all season on "The Bachelorette"? I know I do!

JoJo wins everything, because she gets a chance at picking exactly who she wants to be with, and hopefully fall in love with them. I feel like this is just better for her. Instead of pining for a man’s approval, she gets 25 men who ONLY want her. Who cares if Ben didn’t want to marry her? Potentially, JoJo will be with 25 men who do.

After having her heart broken by a man who told her he loved her and then picked someone else (I’m not bashing Ben, just stating facts), JoJo deserves to be "The Bachelorette." She is so fun and has an amazing personality. If we were to meet, we would definitely be best friends. She deserves to be happy.

Fighting with other girls over a guy is kind of weird and high school-ish to be honest. But for me, it’s a little different with men, and if that’s sexist then so be it. Guys tend to not be as catty as girls, so the competition is a little different on "The Bachelorette."

It also can be extremely empowering for a woman to have a whole gaggle of guys that want to be with you. Maybe that’s a little shallow, but come on. It feels good to have someone like you, and you know it. And especially after having the entire country see you cry over a man on TV, a pick-me-up is always necessary!

Judging by how much JoJo enjoyed all of the dates that were more on the “strange” or “scary” side with Ben, the dates she takes her guys on will be nothing less than spectacular, and her reactions to them will be even better. Instead of just showing up to the dates, JoJo will actually have a hand in choosing what adventures her group gets to go on, and I’m really excited about that. It doesn’t seem like she has a fear of anything (except maybe her brothers coming in really hot to her potential husbands).

I think JoJo was really the absolute best pick to be the next Bachelorette. I think it’s going to be great for her, after the way her time ended on "The Bachelor." It’s amazing that she (and every other girl that agrees to do "The Bachelorette") is extremely strong and willing to put herself out there again to potentially get hurt, after getting her heart broken by Ben. Not everyone could do that, but if anyone can, it’s JoJo.

Confidence is key.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
