The Week explained with popular country songs

After a long week I feel like there are just some songs that explain each day perfectly for not only myself but others. Here is a list of famous country songs that explain each day perfectly!

MONDAY

Folsom Prison Blues- Johnny Cash

One of the hardest days to wake up to after the weekend. No more getting free time with your friends and for many of us we either head back to school, work or even both... Oh the torture but we keep our heads down low waiting for the day to pass just like Jonny Cash does. I think we all agree when I say that Folsom Prison Blues matches our Monday blues better than any other song.

TUESDAY

9 to 5- Dolly Parton

Ok so Monday is over but we gotta get to the grind after the Monday blues. Some times we might complain about how we can't seem to get going but go hard trying to get our tasks done. Hopefully our life will roll our way soon. For now I we just keep on chugging along to get to the weekend quicker.

WEDNESDAY

It's Five O'clock Somewhere- Alan Jackson

It's hump day and you know what that means! Halfway through the week!! Right when you get done with your busy day you minus well sit down for a beer (you know to reward yourself for getting this far through the week). You might even grab a beer halfway through the day just to feel better about that test you had. You know. Calm the nerves. But no matter what you are just ready for the weekend. We all are.

THURSDAY

Take This Job and Shove It- Johnny Paycheck

Is it not Friday yet!!!! You know sometimes you just wanna say F*?K THIS! You know what I'll take that bad grade! I'll miss work! I'll quite this stupid job! But you know better than to do that. You are already more than halfway through this week. You got this so you minus well continue onward.

FRIDAY

Boot Scootin' Boogie- Brooks & Dunn

Finally Friday is here! You are headed out on the town, picking up your friends to head up to the bars and party like you got nothing to lose! Here in Stephenville we definitely know how to Boot Scoot Boogie. That's why this song represents Friday in the best way. Friday the day we have been waiting for since Sunday night. The start to a crazy weekend.

SATURDAY

I Like It, I Love It- Tim McGraw

I like it, I love it and I want some more of it. Hitting up the pool, drinking, tubing, and just all right having the time of your life. If Saturday never ended I would be fine with that. Even if it leaves me poor when Monday comes around... But Saturday is worth all the money in the world just to have the time of your life.

SUNDAY

Girl Crush- Little Big Town

Sunday.... We head to church and pray god to give us another day like Saturday. You might even say we have a small girl crush on how fun Saturday is compared to Sunday. We gotta do the best with what Mamma nature gave us though. Guess I'll just have one more beer before the Monday blues come around. But we go to bed thinking non stop about Saturday.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
