Reader's Digest

I'm sure everyone knows who Harry Potter is and his author, J.K Rowling who has written the seven Harry Potter stories, which have been turned into eight movies. Her most recent creation, Harry Potter And The Cursed Child is a play in London. Now, she has a new movie based off of a Hogwarts textbook, Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them. There are now going to be five movies based off of Hogwarts textbooks. Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them the movie is not a book, but it is a textbook written by the main character Newt in the movie.

Many people are probably asking the question, how much can J.K Rowling get out of her wizardry world that she created? Well, in fact, she could go on forever. There are so many characters in the wizarding world and each one could have their story told. Such as reading Harry Potter And The Cursed Child takes place in the life of Harry Potter and his family, as well as Ron and Hermione's family. The main character is Harry Potter's son who is more like Severus Snape than Harry Potter. He carries a heavy burden after his brother, James becomes the "ideal" child of the famous Harry Potter.

As readers we feel as if we have been connected to Harry Potter, he is our friend and we want to know more about his life. His life after the seventh book and this play did just that. Now, as fans, we crave more of the wizarding world, which is why J.K Rowling is turning her textbooks into movies. Even if you read the textbook, you won't know the story she will create behind the textbook, it's exciting. She created her story of Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them off of the author who wrote the story, Newt. This book is intended for a Hogwart's textbook, so we are able to learn more about the wizarding world.

Fans are asking for more and more of Harry Potter. We are able to visit Platform 9 and 3/4 in London. We can go to Universal Studios and walk into Hogsmeade, Diagon Alley, and Hogwarts. But we always want Harry Potter and the wizarding world to stay alive. I read all of the Harry Potter books in 7th and 8th grade, watched all the movies and went to three-midnight movie premieres. I have been to Universal Studios multiple times and I have been to Platform 9 and 3/4 in London. You could say I am a die-hard Harry Potter fan. I have all the books, 1-7, the play Harry Potter And The Cursed Child, of course, all eight movies and even some Harry Potter attire-including a wand.

Harry Potter fans are dedicated. Wishing so badly we would receive a Hogwarts acceptance letter on our 11th birthday. (Yes on my 12th birthday I had a HUGE Harry Potter themed party) I will be sending my children their acceptance letter of course. But Harry Potter fans wish so desperately that the wizarding world was in fact, a reality. Here's to J.K Rowling for keeping the fantasy alive and hopefully the wizarding world will keep on thriving in years to come.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
