1.You have always been surrounded by food. Always.

2. During 7th and 8th grade, you partied every weekend because it was Bar and Bat Mitzvah season

3. You also can’t escape your own awkward Bat mitzvah photos because they’re all over your house

4.Your mother is your best friend and she will worry over you until the day you die.

5.If she calls you and you don’t answer, she’ll think you actually have died.

6.You have been told repeatedly that the only reason you were placed on this Earth was to meet an NJB, a nice Jewish boy, and have lots of grand kids.

7. You’ve seen The Prince of Egypt 18 million thousand times.

8. Friday night was always the most important night of the week

9. You are accustomed to hearing random Yiddish words like “schlep” and “kvell”

10. Your chutzpah is your most prominent personality trait

11. You made some of your best friends at either sleepaway camps like Ramah, Tel Yehudah, CLC and Camp Monroe, or youth groups like USY, Young Judeah and BBYO

12. You also had your first kiss during a summer or at a dance or convention

13. Jewish guilt is so real.

14. Your mom’s friend from college’s neighbor’s son is a doctor, so you HAVE to be nice to him.

15. Even if it is 98 degrees outside, you have a jacket with you. Just in case.

16. There is no broken heart that a bowl of matzah ball soup can’t cure.

17. Your extended family is so big, when you called them up for their candle during your Bat Mitzvah, half the room emptied

18. You love being Jewish and you wouldn’t trade it for the world.
