Jesus Touch Me

Be vulnerable

Jesus Touch Me

We’re all faced at some point with difficult situations. Situations where it feels as if the world is closing in on you, and you're lost. You feel as if nothing is right, the world is collapsing around you, and it’s not right. Nothing feels right. These situations or decisions you're faced with, are so minuscule. It doesn’t feel that way to you- it’s all consuming, anxiety, that seems to overtake you completely. It's so small, in the grand scheme of things. Whatever it is, it’s just not worth losing sleep over, or the tight knot in your stomach… so take a breath, and say,

Jesus touch me.

That may seem silly, and ridiculous, because Jesus cannot physically touch you, as most believe. But He can. You can totally experience the peace with knowing Him, and the freedom that comes with that. Your stress, your anxiety, your fears- He takes those as His own. You are never alone, you are able to feel and grow in Him to your fullest ability here on earth.. that truth is so attainable!

How lucky you could be to love a God who’s love knows no limits- that is a true gift. Through love, there is a relationship- and having that relationship, you feel wanted, sought after- and then comes grace.

By choosing this, you're choosing a life full of joy- something that can't be found in anything else.

He is right there, arms open. When you're stressed, flee to Him- He will love you, He will listen, and He longs for you to chase Him. Chase Him, discover Him, know Him- this is to live life to the fullest, in a life worthy of living.

So when you're stressed, stop. Open your bible, read the word- talk to your friends. Talk to Him. Let yourself be vulnerable, loved, and understood. Let yourself find Him, and seek Him in any situation- all situations. You are heard, there are plans for you, so when you're anxious, just pray to Him for peace. And say, Jesus, touch me.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
