January is the first month of the new year and we literally celebrate the very first second of it. What many don't know is that January celebrates many other things as well, such as:

1. National Donate Blood Month

January has been national donate blood month since 1970. If you can, donate blood. You can save lives.

2. National Bath Safety Month

This awareness is about safety tips for seniors who can easily have accidents in the bathtub. Kchealthandwellness.com has a lot of tips you can follow to help avoid these types of accidents or easily get help if one does happen.

3. National Braille Literacy Month

Braille is increasingly being incorporated into the latest technology take the to me to learn a little bit of Braille or acknowledge it a bit more. One day it may help.

4. National “Thank You” Month

Sometimes we forget acknowledgment of things people do for us, even if it’s something so simple. Start thanking people more often. Even for the smallest things.

5. National Hobby Month

What better way to start the new year with a new hobby? Try to pick up a new hobby or spend more time on your current one

6. Hot Tea Month

Tea is actually really good for you. It’s an antioxidant which can help with many health problems, it helps your throat when you’re sick. and more. Brew your favorite cup of hot tea and relax.

7. National Soup Month

It’s the perfect month to be soup month. It’s cold and soup can warm you right up. A lot of people tend to get sick this time of year so it’s definitely a good way to make you feel better.
