She is also very open and willing to put herself out there, which has grown her following on YouTube to more than 3 million subscribers.

The face palette flew off the shelves of Sephora stores nationwide after Jaclyn announced that it would be a limited edition product. Jaclyn worked hard and continued her persistence to get to where she is today.
There are so many admirable qualities about Jaclyn. She is one of the few “celebrities” that I willingly follow on all social media platforms. Jaclyn treats her followers and subscribers as her family. She is open about what is going on in her life, and her bubbly personality shines through her social media.
No mater how gorgeous and perfect she is, Jaclyn Hill is actually human, just like the rest of us, and she is able to admit and take responsibility for her mistakes. When the BECCA Cosmetics’ Jaclyn Hill collaboration came out, there was a lot of controversy surrounding the eye shadow palette. Jaclyn created one shade for the palette and BECCA formulated the rest to compliment. However, the formulas were sent to a new lab, which was unable to match the quality of other BECCA products. Consumers were upset in the quality, so Jaclyn took initiative to ask BECCA to remove the product. On her social media she assured her followers that she would not attach her name to something that she does not believe in.
The honesty and integrity in Jaclyn Hill’s entrepreneurship is inspiring and empowering to young women. With 3 million followers, Jaclyn Hill is paving the way for makeup artists and those young men and women with a dream.
