Questions Every Millennial Has For Older Generations

As millennials, we are often blamed for many of society's hardships and downfalls. But in reality, here are a few questions we have for older generations:

Why aren’t jeans considered dressy?

Why do you care who I love?

Why aren’t dogs allowed in more places?

How do people function without technology?

... especially social media?

… Or smartphones?

Why is it such a big deal to live together before marriage?

Why does age matter so much?

How did people live before DVR & Netflix?

Why is the ‘talking’ stage so hard for some to grasp?

How do people not know how to Google?

Why do voicemails still exist?

Please just text me…

Why is mental health still not of any value? (???!?!???!?)

Why can’t I make appointments online at all places?

Why do I still have to CALL to order my pizza?

Why isn’t Wi-Fi everywhere? It is 2017….

Why doesn’t Amazon (or any store...) offer shipping within an hour [everywhere]?

Why are you so concerned with my “laziness”?

Why are disabilities still the first thing that most people notice about someone?

Why does absolutely everything have to be electronic?

Why isn’t there a way to make “good” foods actually good for you?

How exactly am I supposed to “adult” when my education doesn’t even teach me to fix a tire or do my taxes?

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

singing
Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
