Life will take you on crazy twists and turns. Most the time, I have no idea where to go or what to do. I thought it was so simple growing up: if you dream it, you can do it. Man, was I wrong. But, I wasn't completely wrong. If you want it, you dream it, you work for it, and you achieve it. But, what about those times where you just feel completely lost? Those moments when you can't see the brighter light in front of you? How do you keep pushing when everything seems so wrong?

Graduation is a happy time. It's the time when you celebrate all of your accomplishments and your future endeavors. But what if you don't know what those are just yet? As happy as you're supposed to be on your graduation day, you could find yourself feeling lost and not knowing what to do. Things happen, or they don't. Life is going to play out how it is supposed to. As long as you're working toward your goals, whatever they may be, you will eventually end up where you are supposed to be. Don't stress, worry, or take the first thing that comes to you. It's important to think about every step you take after graduation. This is the first day of the rest of your life. Make these choices wisely.

You're not expected to have all of the answers. If someone thinks you need them or you should know exactly what is right for you at 17, 18, 21, 22, or 23, they're wrong. Honestly, even at 65 I don't think you have all of the answers. Life is a learning process. You have to make mistakes to learn from them. You must get knocked down before you can stand on a pedestal. You must fail to find out the right answers. This may not always be the case, but most of the time, it is. If you expect to never work for what you want, did you really earn it? Are you really proud of it?

Don't get down on yourself because you don't know what you're doing or even what you want. It's especially hard when it feels like everyone around you has it figured out but you don't. I promise you, it's completely fine. What is meant to be will always find its way to you. Don't force things, let them happen. But, also don't sit back and do nothing. This world is give and take. You get out of life what you put into it. Yes, there are struggles and you will have several obstacles thrown your way. But, no matter what happens, keep your head up. You made it this far. You're just progressing over a bump in the road.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
