Hey, look I know it's finals week. You're stressed, you're tired, you just wanna go home and never see another textbook again. I get that, I feel the same way right now. With all this, it's important to remind yourself that you got this. You already got through three months of this stuff. You sat through your classes caring at least enough to maintain a moderately enthused look on your face.
Organic chemistry, political theory, advanced calculus, you know you have it. You heard what your professor was saying most of the time. And even if you don't you have notes, somewhere probably sure they may be hasty scribbles or lined with doodles, but they are something. And even if you have no notes, you remember stuff. The human brain is just a really poorly run super computer, and there is nothing that can't be fixed with the right tools. What those tools are depend on what kind of person you are.
Some of us need coffee, go get some before that first final each day. Take your time and study a little now and a little before the exam. Get your sleep, you need it; no sense walking into an exam with bloodshot eyes and bags. The biggest thing is that you know more than you think you know, if you brushed up a little bit, practiced here and there once you see what's actually on the paper it will come to you. And every exam you pass, is just one more time you never have to see that room and that book again. Speaking of the rooms at St. John's, have you ever realized there are like no working clocks in any of them? Did something happen with all of the clocks before I got there that got clocks banned? Getting back to it, also try to arrive early, not like 5 or 10 minutes early to the room, get with 20 minutes and relax somewhere. Use that as your last minute cram session.
Look at this you just have this one last week. You did this before you can do it one more time and remember after this is done, a whole month of catching up on sleep. There may also be this really big holiday in there for some of you, if it is have fun, if it isn't you still never have to open a textbook for almost an entire month, that is enough of a holiday for any of us. You have this. You're gonna be fine.
