While self-love is an important subject, empowering other women is also crucial. I have come to the conclusion that empowerment begins when we learn to treat other women with the same respect as we want to be treated. How can we do this? It's simple. Here are 6 things to do and say every day, if possible, to the fellow women surrounding you:
1. Compliment one another!
Boost each other's confidence! It shouldn't be a competition either. Whether it be their outfit or hair, it is appreciated. It makes more of a difference than you think. Take 2 seconds out of your day to tell someone they are beautiful. More times than not, this will positively impact their ENTIRE day.
2. If you notice a change, TELL THEM!
Women love when the small changes are noticed. A good example would be telling your mom the house looks nice when she cleans. This is a change that often goes unnoticed!
3. SUPPORT one another!
Having a group of supporters is something everyone needs. It is especially important as women to support each other because when we do this extraordinary things can happen.
4. Be nice.
This is the most simple way to uplift other women. Being nice will go a long way and influence other's to also be nice.
5. Stick up for other women.
Women need to work together rather than becoming enemies. If we stick up for one another it creates a bond that cannot be broken.
6. Be there in times of weakness.
Emotional support is important. You should never be alone at your lowest points. You should lift other women to higher grounds so she can see her way through the difficult time.
It is not hard to be there for others. Support is always necessary no matter what the situation is. It is crucial to support and uplift other women!
