5 Things You Need to Know About the iOS 10 Update

1.) Change in emojis:

Apple has updated the emojis adding a more culturally diverse selection. In addition the people look more realistic and the gun emoji is now a colorful green squirt gun.

2.) You can send personalized doodles and handwritten text:


Now you can draw doodles, send handwritten messages, a wide selection offs, send heartbeats, kisses, a wide selection of gifs, and more!

3.) You can add effects to your texts:


Texts now can be sent in invisible ink, with confetti, or even laser beams!

4.) A picture of your contact now appears in the top of the text conversation.


5.) The Lock Screen and Home Screen: Now when your phone is locked or unlocked and you swipe right it will bring up a screen that display Widgets that you can customize. These Widgets can include the weather, favorite contacts, email, reminders, calendars, music, and more!


There are many other little details about this update as it gives the iPhone a whole new look. As with any update, there are some bugs that make apps crash, but overall the update has made significant improvements.
