Certain artists in the music industry can create music in such a way that it captures listeners' hearts and can open up new worlds of imagination. Their music is something you can always go to if you're ever feeling stressed out or if you just need a break from the outside world.

With this I can a assure you, Florence Welch is one of those artists. With her captivating voice and her bandmates, Florence and the Machine create music that can catapult you into another world, and never make you want to leave. With their third studio album "How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful," Florence Welch reaches new heights with her music. Songs like "Ship to Wreck" and "Mother" bring a sense of adrenaline and makes you want to move out of your seat and lose yourself in the pop-alternative sound. In other songs like "St. Jude," the slow mellow beat and her soft voice flow like water to put you in a calm state of mind.

What also makes her music great is not only the instruments that come together to play one giant masterpiece, but it's also her lyrics and how she uses them in each song. For this album, she talks about the essence of love and the ups and downs of a relationship. Now, even if you aren't in a relationship, Florence speaks on many different levels; she talks about being alone and saying that you don't have to be like anyone else but yourself. Now when it comes to creating the music, Florence and her band use a vast array of instruments such as guitars and drums that leave you clapping your hands to the beat in her song "Dog Days Are Over." Her own voice is an instrument of its own.

To conclude, Florence and the Machine bring a sound that can bring people t hope in doubtful times and I love their music and I hope to see them in concert soon.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
