It's a "tilt and rotate" 360-degree video, and it's a new, interactive way to share footage of just about anything.
According to CNNMoney, this style of video sharing was launched back in 2015 by Facebook with content from "Star Wars" and "Saturday Night Live," as well as Go Pro streams.
It works on a desktop or smartphone; however, when using a smartphone, the ability to tilt the actual device can be the method of choice when experiencing the whole 360-degree shot.

There is even 360-degree footage of a rover on Mars. According to Popular Science, Facebook head-honcho, Mark Zuckerberg, said, "This is just the beginning of what we can do with virtual reality and 360 video. Pretty amazing."
