Whether society likes to admit it or not, many social media addicts find any situation and capture the moment to post on their media platforms. Many snap the perfect meal, view, and now the best workout showing their progress while on the grind. Many trendy workout facilities have created an environment that fits many Insta esthetics and provides a killer workout so those who take part leave with a good workout and maybe a couple of likes.
Here are some popular workout places you should try.
Pure Barre
Pure Barre is a workout that focuses on strengthening and toning lean muscle with minimal impact on joints. This class consists of mostly bodyweight exercises with minimal cardio. This is a great workout to get strengthen your core. As a past dancer, I really enjoyed the stretches and exercises for it lengthened my muscles and my abdominal area has never looked better.
If you are more into high-intensity workouts such as running or hit training, this workout class is probably not the best fit for you. You are lead by a trained instructor and leads the class through all of the exercises with inspiring encouragement throughout the class. What I love about the class was as the workout came to a finish, the lights would dim and would lead into a much-needed stretch to eliminate unneeded sore muscles.
Proper fuel for this workout: If you're like me, I like to rise early so although it too early to eat a full meal before this workout, I like to grab a quick banana or a protein bar to have some energy to power through the workout.
Orangetheory
Orangetheory is a high-intensity cardio workout. Each student is lead by an instructor and put into groups. one side completes a circuit of workouts with weights and given tasks targeting certain muscles and switches to either treadmill or rowing sessions. each student is given a heart monitor to see if they are working out to their full potential. each student's progress is displayed on a screen so everyone can see how hard you are working. I personally loved the friendly competition because everyone works at their own pace, but I found that I could remember these workouts and practice them at my own gym.
After every workout, I like to reward my body with healthy carbs such as sweet poetess, peanut butter, or even some oatmeal. Fun fact: oatmeal is a great meal while exercising and eliminates stomach fat.
Title Boxing Club
This workout is my absolute favorite! Before I went to college, I attended title almost every day and found the best results in my overall endurance and my body was in its best shape. Each class is led by an instructor. The class starts off with an intense cardio workout, eight rounds of bag boxing, and finishes strong with a abdominal workout. different classes target different parts of the body such as a strength boxing class incorporated with kettlebells or kickboxing. There has never been a time when I left the class either drenched in sweat or sore for days.
If none of these workouts feel like the best fit for you, take advantage of the classes provided at your local gym. If you find a certain workout fits you best, find gyms that specialize in that particular workout. But most importantly, keep moving, keep pushing, and maybe document your grind on Snapchat!
