Recently I have been listening and getting into the band "Kodaline". The band is an Irish band and they are not only phenomenal singers, but their songs are perfectly suited to people's lives. Their songs give a sense of warmth that we are not alone in struggles life wants to throw at us. I wanted to share a few quotes from songs that are my favorites and can inspire others.

1. "But hey I wish you all the best and maybe someday we might even meet again"

This quote is from "Moving On". It is about moving on from someone you loved in the past. While this song is about a relationship, this one line can suit anybody. In life, people do separate from us and we do not know if we will meet them again in the future, we just have to wish them the best and move on until that time comes. And if that time comes and you do not meet again, that is okay. You have to accept that people leave for a reason, even if you do not quite know the reason yet.

2. "You're feeling like you'll never win. Hey, maybe I can help you out. Don't fall into your doubts. I hear you screaming out"

This quote is from "Autopilot". It is about somebody who does not feel like their life is going right. They feel as if everything that happens will go wrong. This quote says that somebody can help you out. I really connected with this quote because not only have people helped me in my time of need, but I have helped people not fall down. I love helping people and this quote is just beautiful in all levels. You are never alone, remember that.

3. "I can see the change in me, makes me feel alive again"

This quote is from "Human Again". It is about somebody who is going through something toxic and wants to feel themselves again. This quote is inspiring because that one moment somebody realizes they can change, they will feel alive again and back to being their true self. After anything toxic comes a lesson and once you learn it, you can change and learn from the mistakes. And it feels good.

4. "Time is like a bubble, anytime its gonna blow. And its over before you know"

This quote is from "Caught In The Middle." While this song is also about love, this quote can be suited to life. As cliché as it sounds, time does fly. We have to appreciate what life gives us now, one day we will want it back. This is a feeling a lot of graduates from high school feel like when they graduate. Time really is like a bubble so before it pops, we should appreciate it all.

5. "We go out on our own. It's a big bad world outside. Carrying our dreams and all that they mean, trying to make it all worthwhile"

This quote is from "Big Bad World". This is about life. This song is telling us things that go on in life. This quote is totally true. We carry our dreams and try to make our life worthwhile. We can make it worthwhile as long as we continue to follow our dreams and make our lives good lives. Although the world can be a big and scary place, we can still make the best of it.

6. "So you swallow your heart and you swallow your pride, you gotta be tough if you wanna survive"

This quote is from "Unclear". It is about wondering why the future is so unclear and even life at points. This is an amazing quote because it is saying no matter what life throws at you, you have to be tough through it all. We all can survive anything, we just need to hold on. :)
