Inspiration For A New Semester

I could write out a huge long inspirational speech full with great metaphors and flowery language but instead I will keep it short and sweet because I’m sure we are all drowning once again in homework.

You can do this. It is just one more semester. It is one more semester before you once again get another break. It is one more semester with your best friends before once again everyone goes back home. It is one more semester that you have ahead of you that is pushing you towards getting the job of your dreams. It is one more semester to exceed your own expectations. It is one more semester full of Chinese takeout and Cookout dinners (even though if we are honest these won’t end with the semester). It is one more semester of living with your friends around you 24/7. It is one more semester of late nights where you are just trying to finish your paper before the deadline of 11:59. It is one more semester of this year of college.

Everything is going to go by so fast that once this semester ends you won’t believe how all this time went by. You get this brand new clean slate of a semester to do with it how you want. So many opportunities are waiting, so do with that what you please.

Let’s go and take on this semester.

Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
