Innings Festival is a celebration for baseball fans and music lovers combined. Two things Arizonans pride themselves off: hosting Spring Training and having some of the best music venues.

The festival takes place at Tempe Beach Park & Arts Park from Feb. 29 to March 1. Previous years have hosted headliners like Incubus and Queens of the Stone Age.

Innings Festival

This year the festival has the honor of hosting acts like Weezer, The Struts, and more on stages named Home Plate, Right Field and Left Field. Be prepared for appearances by MLB Legends such as Jake Peavy and Ryan Dempster.

There will be many things to do besides listening to music such as baseball activities, food from local vendors and liquor lounge areas. Get familiar with some of the bands in the listicle below:

The Struts

The Struts are the perfect festival band as they have a charismatic singer and top-notch band. With two albums under their belt and an unforgettable stage presence, The Struts will have you reminiscing about older bands like Queen and Aerosmith: Two huge influences of theirs.

Currently on their tour presented by Harley-Davidson, The Struts decided to make a pitstop in Tempe, Arizona, to play Innings Festival in the middle of their Tour de California.

The British glam rockers have had openers like Greta Van Fleet, Kelsy Karter, and The Glorious Sons. You'll definitely want to hear these acts along with the band's cover of David Bowie and Mick Jagger's "Dancing in the Street."

The Struts will be performing Sunday at 5:10 p.m. at Home Plate. The band will also be at the Zia Records pop-up shop at 3:30 p.m.

Weezer

What isn't there to say about Weezer?

The rock icons are notable for crossing multiple genres and most famously known for naming albums "Red Album," "Blue Album," and even "Teal Album."

Weezer, along with singer Rivers Cuomo, is praised in the music business for its influence on 2000s music. The "Blue Album" was released in 1994 and has a couple of their most known hits on it such as "Say it Ain't So," "Buddy Holly," and "Undone - The Sweater Song."

Portugal. The Man will be performing on Saturday at 6:20 p.m. at Home Plate.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
