As an INFP and a dreamer music is a huge part of my life. I love to get lost in music, especially music that I feel describes how I feel. I don't have a song for every feeling or mood but I have found some songs that pretty accurately describe feelings that are very typically "INFP."

1. When an INFP has a crush.

"Stuck on You" - New Politics

"Put a spell on me
Walk away from me
It's called irony
Got me hypnotized
I am paralyzed
I lost my sanity

What did I do?
To get my mind stuck on you
What did I do?"

2. When an INFP falls in love.

"You are Gold" - The National Parks

"And there's something I need to say
But I feel too afraid
Cause when it's real there's a risk
A chance that I'm nervous to take
Oh my, Oh my I think that I have fallen
Cause you are gold
You are all I see
You are aurum scarce and meant for kings
You are gold"

3. When an INFP is imagining life with the one they love.

"You & Me" - Diamond Rings

"Take time just to make time,
'cause I don't want you to leave.
Take time just to make time,
'cause I want you to believe.
That we all have our own purpose
Nothing's wrong and nothing's worthless
Sometimes it just takes a little digging underneath the surface
Pushing, pulling, overthrowing everything worth ever knowing
Living, dying, loving, crying, trying, sighing, flying, soaring,
High"

4. When an INFP is searching for a job.

"Make My Money Dreaming" - Moons of Mars

"It's clear to me,

that nothing's free,

might as well do something I believe in"

5. When an INFP is stressed about the future.

"Living in the Moment" - Jason Mraz

"I will not waste my days
Making up all kinds of ways
To worry about all the things
That will not happen to me

So I just let go of what I know I don't know
And I know I only do this by
Living in the moment
Living my life
Easy and breezy
With peace in my mind
With peace in my heart
Peace in my soul
Wherever I'm going, I'm already home
Living in the moment"

6. When an INFP is just stressed in general.

"Too Much to Think" - 311

"Don't got time to waste or time to kill
I've had too much to think
Illuminate the shadow
And try to keep the light within (keep the light within)
Avoid another battle
And forget what might have been
How do I keep it?"

7. When an INFP surrenders to God.

"Out of Hiding" - Steffany Gretzinger

"Come out of hiding
You're safe here with Me
There's no need to cover
What I already see

You've got your reasons
But I hold your peace
You've been on lockdown
And I hold the key

'Cause I loved you before you knew it was love
And I saw it all, still I chose the cross
And you were the one that I was thinking of
When I rose from the grave"

8. When an INFP goes on a road trip.

"As We Ran (Bunt Edit)" - The National Parks

"Well we made our way,

up to the treeline,

when the cold fell down and covered us in white.

And the world below,

was like a rolling sea.

So we watched from the tallest peak."

9. When an INFP remembers how good God is.

"Come Thou Fount" - Jadon Lavik

"Come, Thou Fount of every blessing
Tune my heart to sing Thy grace
Streams of mercy, never ceasing
Call for songs of loudest praise
Teach me some melodious sonnet
Sung by flaming tongues above
Praise the mount, I'm fixed upon it
Mount of Thy redeeming love"

10. When an INFP's insomnia hits (again.)

"Creature of the Night" - Air Traffic Controller

"Midnight comes around there's no way I'm laying down,

I'm on a roll, I'm in control,

I've got to keep the oil burning,

And my little wheels a-turning up the road,

It's all I know,

I am a creature of the night"

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
