Imagine a rain so hard it blinds you, falling in boulders around your face as your lips part to taste it. Clear and wandering, your eyes are privy to a thing unreal. The water says the words you cannot and the sound is all so perfect. You're looking at them and you remember the days before this rain. The days in drought when the roaring sun ruled. But now, it is pouring. A time without a sun. Yes, our star has ceased its burning because their souls are plenty to light your world.
All human truth is in that blue falling water.
Yes, imagine a rain so great that you are never parched again.
You have seen the rain. Can you find it again?
This piece developed from a poem I created many years ago called "Imagine Rain." It has since evolved to encompass much more that what I originally conceived it to mean. I edited it to include the vitality of love in my life. I wrote with the intention of conveying what it means to honestly and entirely experience the tidal wave of love. I dedicate it to all those that I love so dearly. You are my rushing rainstorm.
