I'm Watching the Bachelorette for the First Time; Here Are My Reactions

Okay, so, below are all my real time reactions. After watching an episode, I can say the show has a little too much high school drama for my liking, but I think I'll watch it. This could be interesting, plus the men are very handsome. It's interesting to see the dynamic between the men all together, and Claire with the men one-on-one, and being with all of them. This show is truly unique, and I can see why they have such a huge following.

First of all, how desperate do you have to be to resort to reality TV to find love? Also, is it really love if she's dating like 10 guys at once? Also, what's with them getting health professionals to their room to test them for COVID? So far, I don't really get it, but the men are all a 10/10 so I'll keep watching.

Claire wants a man, and I just feel like The Bachelorette is not the place to find that. Also, her dress makes her stuck in 2008. So far still not impressed, but I'll still watch. The corny intros also aren't it. It's a little cringe, but okay.

Jason, why are you pregnant? NEXT!! This man is 28. Claire is 39. Nope, he's too young, sorry. Kenny reminds me of a skinny Gustavo Rock, "Boy Band Manger."

WAIT! Tyler is 27, and looks like an f boy. Not a fan. There's a Rolls Royce, and he looks like a prince. I want him for me! My reason for watching now. Bennett from New York, my guy.

Jay is in a straight jacket. Uh, not cute. Why are there so many costumes?!! Everyone is so corny. I would eliminate them off the bat. WAIT, AGAIN! There's a 26 year old. WAIT! A man proposed?! Okay wait, it's a butt. NO THANKS!!

Brandon seems nice and respectable. I like him. Dale holding Claire's hands looks like he's playing a video game moving his thumbs that much. Claire thinks she met her husband, aka Dale. How does that even work, girl you don't know him.

Half of the guys look like Zac Efron, I kind of want to be in Claire's place.

Okay so Claire just walked in and the vibes in the room are kind of awkward. Also, not a fan that Claire is a crier.

Dale says like every two words. Cringe. I do like the dog cameo though. Quality content.

Carnival games? I mean what ever floats your boat. All the men try too hard. Like simplicity is key.

HIS ACCENT IS NOT LONG ISLAND!! As a Long Island native, no one talks that. I think that's his voice. Why are they all so cocky? Is that production telling them to be like that?

Omg here's Tyler C. again. He's annoying, I hope he gets the boot. He's starting drama already. This is so stupid, leave the Instagram drama behind. I think Tyler is just annoyed because he's one of the youngest one. OKAY, WAIT! Yosef is now bringing it to Claire. Night 1, is spicy. Also the way Claire asks to speak to Tyler C., she sounds like his mom, probably because she's old enough to be.

Okay but like Blake messaging her was nice and all, but I feel like Claire makes things way too emotional. Is the impression rose that big of a deal?

Blake is PISSED! That's kind of funny because he was so confident after the kiss, but Dale comes in for the win again.

Don't they feel naked without a mask? I feel naked for them. She keeps saying " I feel like my husband is in the room." Like we get it, you love Dale already. Also they look like they are on their way to prom with the rose in their jackets. It's amazing she can remember all of their names.

Also Jason looks like John B from Outer Banks. And Blake needs to button his shirt more.

Chris Harrison: "This is the final rose." Yes, the last rose on the table, in the center of all of them, clearly shows that.NO WAY SHE CHOSE YOSEF!! I think the producers told her to do that for ratings because the drama was too high school. These goodbyes are really awkward.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
