If You're Feeling The Semester Blues, My Dogs Will Be Your Solution

I have two dogs, they are both brats. And although I love them, I think other people can appreciate them too. Especially those feeling this middle of semester pressure. Those of you who are graduating in the Fall, good luck!! Those of you just trying to survive, also good luck! But if you don't want to cry and are avoiding calling home, my dogs will be there to support you through your hardships.

This is Max, short for Maximus del Sol, he is a good boy but he likes to eat things. He is a White German Shepherd and is very tall! Max comes from a line of show dogs, so when he stands, he has a natural pose. Max is my model and he is the softest boy you will ever come across. His favorite activity is when you play with his ears. He will do anything for you to continue petting his ears so beware. Max also loves to go for walks and knows when he has to be good and when he wants to be bad. I love the little boy, but he is really a big baby.

This is Bella, short for Bella Luna, and she likes to whine a lot. There is never a quiet moment in my house because she loves to whine and complain. We like to call her the spoiled brat because if she doesn't like things her way, then we go her way and never take the high way. She loves to nip and play with you, she loves chasing you and trying to corral you into a corner. She is also very perceptive to emotions, hence the whining and crying. But we love her no matter what, she is a good girl and one you want to come home to. When she smiles, she smiles with her entire face.

They dogs are brother and sister, we adopted them both after only considering Max. We couldn't split them apart, they were the only two in their litter. They love one another so much and when they sleep in their crate at night, it is the cutest thing. Max is such a spreader but Bella likes the contact, I love watching them get comfortable. Thanks for appreciating my doggos! Here's another one when they were pups!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
