For those of you out there with pets, real or imaginary (I won't judge), you'll completely understand that there are some things you say to your pet dog, cat, fish, rat, and other miscellaneous creatures that they'll never understand. Some of those things are very sweet, while some of the other things are probably not good for your pets self-esteem. However, I guarantee that we, as pet owners, have questioned what our pets would love to relay to here. Here are just a few assumptions I've created as what they'd tell us if they could speak.
Dog: "Play with me! Play with me! Play with me! I need your never-ending attention."
Let's be honest, if our dogs could talk, they would do nothing more than crave our endless attention. They really do not care if we're cramming for an exam, in the middle of a conference call, or taking a nap as deep as the ocean; they will get your attention somehow.
Cat: "Thanks for the $100 cat tower, but this loose thread hanging from your shirt will do just fine."
We really do overestimate what cats will love and interact with, but they are fairly simple pets, while somehow still being the most complicated pets at the same time. Does that make sense? Did I just make this complicated? Am I part cat?
Hamster: "3:30 am? Great time for a run on this squeaky wheel!"
For those of you have never owned a hamster, they are annoyingly nocturnal. Not only are they nocturnal, but they become VERY active. If you're considering purchasing a hamster, you may want to invest in some ear plugs as well.
Fish: "Bubble."
So I really do not believe a fish would have much to say due to their extremely limited memory spans, but those constant bubbles blown in their tanks speak enough.
Unfortunately, I cannot make any promises as to the accuracy of these animal quotes; however, I am confident that I am not very far off. What do you think your pet would say?
