Losing friends is the absolute worse. But, sometimes we don’t realize it is all part of growing up. Some people are not meant to be in our lives forever, some are meant to come and go. The people in our lives are meant to hate us, break us, shake us, and teach us.
Not every friendship is meant to last forever. If anything, most are meant to either fizzle out or completely crash and burn. It may seem like the worst scenario ever, or as if your world is over, but in all honesty, any friendship that has the ability to end was meant to end. If it wasn’t..then why did it?
Why do friendships begin if they will just end? You can probably be quick to blame yourself for this, but it is not always your fault. There are times where no one is to blame, both are to blame or the problems were entirely caused by one person. It's important to recognize the differences between these three situations and approach them appropriately.
It is actually too easy during situations like these to take the blame all for yourself. Sometimes, it wasn't even your fault at all. That relationship was probably just meant to end. You just can't overthink it! While it takes two to tango, it takes only one to break the dance. If the rhythm just isn’t there, then maybe you don’t have the right partner.
One of the hardest part of friendships is when you feel them going in the wrong direction. While talking about your problems and trying to work things out is sometimes all you need, it is often a more difficult process to be happy with the relationship again.
Sometimes the best way to be happy is to be without the person at all.
If you feel your friendship is worth something you should always fight for it, but sometimes friendships are meant to end because you and the other person were meant to go your separate ways or maybe even eventually come back into each other’s lives. You eventually learn what kind of people should be in your life, even if it is only for a short amount of time.
Some relationships in our life will just be toxic and far from healthy for us.
We need to be surrounded by friends who are there for us through good times and bad.
Friends should never put you down or make you feel bad about yourself.
When you lose friends, sometimes you cannot take it personally. Appreciate the friends you do have in your life and spend time with them. But, one of the most important things you can learn in life is that not everyone is meant to stay in your life forever. The faster you learn this, the happier you will be.
