The other day, someone asked me, “how would the world be if we all loved like a mother?”
I reclined into my seat to ponder on what my love for you meant, and a warm feeling ran across my body
It was then I realized that my love for you is unexplainable
For I loved you even before I laid my eyes on you
I fantasized about moments with you even before I knew what your name would be
You were physically a stranger but mentally more than a close friend
My willingness to give you a helping hand was not based on my familiarity with you
For my love for you is unconditionality
My love for you is not about your physical attributes or your ability to become successful
I live each day hoping the best for you and willing to help you grow in anyway I can
I do not hold you to your wrongs, for I understand we all make mistakes
I encourage you in your failures for I see your potentials even when the path seems unclear to you
I have no intention of wrong towards you for my heart aches when yours does
I am always there as a shoulder for you to cry on and as a counselor willing to provide advice
I love to help you grow but I also take joy in seeing you learn with no help
You came as a blessing to me and a blessing you will always be
My love is patient and kind
My love hopes, rejoices and preserves with you
My love would never fail nor would it cease
Now, I sit here looking out into the world as people go about their daily businesses
And I wonder what the world would be if people loved people by only a bit of how much I love you
The thought of such world brings warmth to my heart for I know my love for you is unmeasurable
If the world would ever feel a bit of what I feel for one another, how marvelous such a world would be
