Attending the University of Dayton leaves you with a sense of loyalty and pride that goes unmatched. We will be Flyers forever and always, and will support our school till the end of our days. You might even say we "pledge allegiance" to UD. Truly, UD is a our homeland, and we are the citizens. So let us tell you a little about our home.
If UD was a country…
President: the man, Dr. Dan.
Vice President: Father Chaminade.
National Anthem: Go Dayton Flyers … Go Dayton Flyers … D! A! (so on and so forth).

National Bird: Not a bird, but a plane.
National Food: Pizza … whether from Cousin Vinny’s, Dominos, or KU … just, pizza.

Climate: Sometimes cold, sometimes hot, yet always appropriate weather for a Hawaiian shirt.
Crime Rate: Low, yet with a confusingly high amount of flashers (?) and fire alarm pulls.
Natural Resources: Spirit jerseys, Natty light, and Nancy from Marycrest.
Exports: Alumni such as humorist Erma Bombeck, inventor of the “control-alt-delete” keyboard command David Bradley, and sportscaster Dan Patrick. Also a whole lot of other awesome and successful people.
National Disputes: There has been long-lasting tension between UD and the country of Xavier for years. However, due to complications that have prohibited the two countries from fighting directly, tension has now grown between UD and the land of SLU.

St. Patrick’s Day
St. Practice Day
Christmas on Campus
