If The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills Went Greek

Life isn't always diamonds and rosé, especially when you're in a sorority. But, if the ladies of Bravo's hit TV series the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" were going through recruitment this fall, they would certainly bring the bling to any house they pledged. With the most expensive recruitment dresses (excuse me, gowns) and tales of their lavish vacations to wow their bump groups, these women would own recruitment in their Louboutin heels and $25,000 sunglasses. Here's where they would end up on bid day:

Adrienne Maloof: Chi Omega

Adrienne is incredibly driven, and is willing to do whatever it takes to make sure her business is thriving. She's successful in her professional life, and although she comes from money, she's also set out to make her own through hard work. Her many business ventures keep her schedule busy, but she knows how to manage her time and handle any challenges she may face in her business ventures or her social life. She's often a leader in her friend group, and is always ready to take charge. Plus, she looks great in red.

Brandi Glanville: Pi Beta Phi

Brandi is hot, and she knows it. She owns her sex appeal, her raunchy sense of humor, and her potty mouth like no other. Many girls are jealous of her for her killer looks and her "I-don't-care" attitude. She loves to have fun, and when she's drunk on the dance floor, you know she's dancing dirty and she won't be sorry for it. Brandi doesn't take shit from anyone, so don't play games with this housewife, or she'll be a bitch right back. She's also down to earth, funny as hell, and fiercely protective of those she loves.

Camille Donatacci Grammer: Kappa Kappa Gamma

Camille Grammer is blonde, perky, and powerful. She always looks sophisticatedly sexy, knows just what to say, and is an intelligent businesswoman. A girl's girl with a sporty side, Camille also knows how to let loose (as demonstrated by her colorful dancing), but she's also a class act. She's down to earth enough that she has her priorities straight and is popular amongst her friends, but is still rich enough that she has a taste for the finer things in life.

Taylor Armstrong: Delta Gamma

Taylor is a typical "nice girl," a true social butterfly with a good girl reputation. She's very smart and a leader in her philanthropic work, but she doesn't let those responsibilities get in the way of her social life. As a victim of domestic violence, Taylor is all about girl power, and is heavily involved in charities supporting her cause. She is respected by her friends and colleagues (for the most part). Taylor rarely tolerates cattiness, unless its her own, which is how she makes her friends-- and her enemies.

Yolanda Foster: Kappa Alpha Theta

Yolanda is high fashion, high class, and incredibly wealthy. She seems sweet when you first meet her; she's an excellent and generous hostess, as well as a lovely guest. But, get on her bad side, and she'll come after you with a vengeance. You wouldn't expect this seemingly prim modeling veteran to lash out when you piss her off, but that's what makes her so deadly. She's incredibly stylish and always looks put together; you've never seen her with a hair out of place, just like the thetas on your campus. She's also an overachiever (seriously, what isn't she good at?)

Kim Richards: Alpha Phi

Kim certainly marches to the beat of her own drum. She's a beautiful woman with a fun personality and a successful past as a child star. On the surface, she's got money and looks, but not much in brains. Once you get to know her, however, you see there's more to her than meets the eye; past the silly, ditzy exterior is a strong woman who can take care of herself (no matter what her sisters think). Both flirty and fun, Kim is an excellent addition to any party, and a pillar of strength when you just need a friend, even if she's dealing with a host of her own issues.

Kyle Richards: Alpha Delta Pi

Kyle is arguably the most down to earth housewife, much like her ADPi sisters. She may not be the richest girl in Beverly Hills, but her devotion to her family is unshakable. She is fiercely loyal and seriously funny, and loves to be the center of attention, because she knows how to work a crowd. Kyle is sensitive and compassionate, but sometimes her emotions get the better of her. She's known for having a temper and a little bit of a mean girl streak, but (usually) with good intentions.

Lisa Vanderpump: Zeta Tau Alpha

Lisa Vanderpump is the queen of Beverly Hills, just like she would be the queen of any sorority she pledged. But as they say, only the best get crowned, and Lisa Vanderpump is the best. She's the most well connected, the best dressed, and one of the richest by far-- but she's also one of the funniest, most blunt women in the BH or on the greek scene. Sexy, elegant, and a party girl at heart, Lisa owns every room she walks into. What makes her so powerful, however, is not her ability to rule her loyal subjects with money and confidence, but also her ability to relate to others and her compassionate nature. She's intelligent, loyal, and caring to the core. Lisa truly is the queen.

10 Signs You Work In A Restaurant

There's always chaos in the restaurant business.

10 Signs You Work In A Restaurant
Brisanis

Working in the restaurant industry is possibly the most fundamentally challenging occupation I have ever experienced when it comes to hospitality and customer service. When you go to a five-star restaurant you expect the time of your life, a two hour getaway, a walk through another time period (rustic Italy, France, Spain, etc), or simply a honeymoon undergo. What you don't see are the behind the scenes scut work: carrying trays, polishing glassware and silverware, kitchen chaos, the list is endless. Now, I'm not saying being a host, server, or bartender is the worst thing in the whole wide world, there are definitely worse things. But the fact of the matter is that it isn't always sunshine and rainbows. In the two years that I have spent in restaurant and customer service, I have spoken my share of expletives, yelled at kitchen staff, and dealt with not-so-happy guests. It isn't easy to keep a bright and shiny smile on your face when all you want to do is choke every person who walks near you. Anyone who has spent even two weeks working in a restaurant understands the rigor and stress that comes with it. Restaurant culture is a tiny world in and of itself that operates on its own principles and creates its own society. It even has its own language. The sayings "runner", "corner", and "on a bus" wouldn't make sense to anyone otherwise. My mother and I both work in a restaurant and the best advice I can give someone going out to eat is to treat us like people. Yes...believe it or not we are people, people. Say "please" and "thank you", or stack your cleared plates before a busser gets to the table. Trust me, the gesture goes a lot farther than you may think.

So, if you work in a restaurant, you can relate with the following points. If not, check out how the brain of a restaurant service (or any customer service) worker actually works. See if you can identify any crazy weird habits your friends have a tendency to partake in.

One of the scariest things we will ever face in our life is going to college. Many of us move away to a new town, join new organizations, and make new friends. We are expected to study, have a social life, relationships, maybe work, and be healthy. It seems pretty easy to do, and in high school all we wanted to do was graduate and move on to this next chapter of our lives. If you are in high school, here are some things that you can learn from before you get to college. If you have already been through your freshman year of college, hopefully you can relate to the things I have learned in college.
