The world's favorite four (five in my heart - RIP Zayn) boys are taking a hiatus. That's right people, One Direction will be no longer. We all hope that in two years time the boys will be back ready to make music again but realistically that probably won't be the case. Probably two of them have a solo career, one will be a father (Louis, I am looking at you), one might end up on celebrity rehab, and the other will just fall off the face of this earth.
I am not trying to bash One Direction, believe me I love them just as much as the next fan girl. I'm hoping they leave the limelight, maybe go to college, and be normal humans. As a member of Greek life, I'd hope if they did attend a normal university these boys would turn into fraternity men. So let's see which houses they would rush...
1. Harry Styles - Sigma Chi
Harry is pretty much the one that holds One Direction together. He's a mix of serious and playful, and has a great sense of humor. Although sometimes we question his choice of wardrobe, we can never stay mad because his personality makes up for it. He has a laid back attitude and cool demeanor that makes anyone want to be his friend. He would definitely be rocking the blue and old gold as a member of Sigma Chi - In Hoc brother.
2. Liam Payne - Pi Kappa Alpha
The motto "Once a Pike, Always a Pike" holds true for Liam. As a natural born leader, he's a perfect fit for the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. He is constantly being called "Daddy Directioner" for his role as the father of the group. He is the serious one that takes on the leadership roles. As part of his fraternity he would be straight on his way to being president. Also, he looks damn good in a suit.
3. Louis Tomlinson - Sigma Nu
If One Direction had a class clown it would be Louis. His outgoing and hilarious personality would make him a popular figure throughout all of Greek life. It would be no surprise that no matter what fraternity he was member of, Liam would be friends with everyone. His constant jokes and ridiculous pranks would be the key to any party. His personality would land him in the fraternity Sigma Nu. He'd also look great in black, white, and gold.
4. Niall Horan - Phi Delta Theta
You won't just find Niall involved in the music industry, he has other passions as well. He loves golf and football (aka soccer), and often consumes his free time with these activities. He is a well rounded guy that puts his eggs in more than one basket. As a member of Phi Delta Theta, Niall would get involved not only in his own chapter but probably IFC as well. It's also probably no coincidence that his eyes are the exact color as the fraternity crest. I am not kidding, look it up.
5. Zayn Malik - GDI
Sorry, I had to do it. Zayn would be a GDI and for those of you who don't know this stands for Goddamn Independent (aka not a member of Greek life). Leaving the band didn't help his case, although we are all still waiting for his solo album. He clearly likes to march to the beat of his own drum and therefore, probably wouldn't be into Greek life. We all still love him though. RIP to the high notes.
