Do you ever play a video game and wish it was real life? Do you ever think, what if this is how life was? I can't help but imagine what it would be like if life was like Mario Kart. I'm not talking about the newer, modern Wii version -- I'm talking original Nintendo 64 Mario Kart.
Rainbow Road
Let's face it, driving wouldn't suck so much if we had cooler things to look at. We'd have colorful roads, flashing faces instead of clouds, and not to mention those cool star shaped guardrails instead of boring metal ones. Every now and then you'd have those random chomps on the side, but that's better than a cop right? No tickets, just a few seconds taken off your travels.
Turtle shells
We all have bad days and sometimes we just want to throw things out of frustration. There would be nothing better than to be able to have three turtle shells where people know not to bother you. If they do, they know there's a possibility of them getting hit with a turtle shell. The good news is, injuries wouldn't be sustained and they'd simply do a flip and slow down.
That stoplight cloud guy
While nobody really knows who or what this little guy is, he's a lot less annoying than GPS voices. When you're going the wrong way, I'd much rather see this little guy hanging in front of me as a warning rather than hearing "make a U-turn" 12,000 times before I can safely turn around. Also, imagine having these guys controlling stoplights instead of a computer.
Random shortcuts
When you just want to get ahead of those annoying cars you can't seem to pass, wouldn't it be nice to have that one shortcut to bypass all of them? Whether it's by jumping over walls and ramps or driving through rocks, a shortcut here and there that doesn't involve messing up your car would be extremely convenient.
Power stars
Sometimes, we just need a boost, and sometimes we just want to be untouchable. Imagine being able to do anything you want and race through something quickly without anyone being able to bother or say anything to you. Sometimes you just need super powers to get through things and obstacles may stand in the way. Get a power star and you can do anything you want.
Surprise boxes
Whether you need to get your turtle shells for throwing or a mushroom for that quick boost, it'd be pretty nice to just find surprise boxes everywhere to help you out throughout the day. Since they regenerate so quickly, you'd never have to worry about not getting a little assistance. Quite honestly, I'd love to get free mushrooms during my walks to class that give me quick bursts of energy or speed. I'd save a lot of money on coffee!
