Growing up if you did not know what American Girl was, I am sorry. American Girl was a part of my generation's childhood. During my generation's childhood most of us found characters from American Girl we connected to the most. It makes me stop and think what if American Girl Dolls went Greek.

Felicity, Alpha Delta Pi

ADPI's open motto is "We live for each other." Felicity does just that because she lived during the American Revolution and was fighting for what was right and trying to pave the way for the next generations of America. ADPI's symbol is a lion, which symbolizes beauty and strength. Felicity does just that throughout her life.

Julie, Kappa Alpha Theta

Julie is the perfect Kappa Alpha Theta because she is a very laid-back kind of girl and makes her own path. Julie grew up in San Francisco during the Hippie Movement. Theta was founded as an attempt to bring women to join coeducational colleges, so Julie growing in the "Peace & Love" Era would have made her the perfect Theta. Even the gold zipper on her shirt is representing one of the Theta colors.

Samantha, Kappa Kappa Gamma

Samantha would be the perfect Kappa Kappa Gamma for many reasons. One of them being because Samantha is one of the oldest American Girl dolls and KKG is one of the oldest sororities. KKG was founded in an attempt to show that women could found social societies just as well as men could, which goes along with Samantha because she was raised in the early 1990s during the Women's Suffrage Movement. So grab your key Samantha because Kappa is it for you girl.

Kaya, Pi Beta Phi

Kaya would be the perfect Pi Beta Phi because she is down to Earth and courageous, like most Pi Beta Phis that I know. She is like a Pi Phi because she is loyal and stays true to herself. The symbol of Pi Phi is the arrow. Since Kaya is a Native American, the arrow became her livelihood, so Kaya is the perfect Pi Beta Phi right?!

Kit, Kappa Delta

Kit is the perfect fit for Kappa Delta, not only because she is often seen wearing the color green (as pictured below). She is headstrong, resourceful, hopeful, strong spirited and smart.

Josafina, Chi Omega

Josafina is the perfect Chi Omega because she is a hard worker, she loves live and lives it to the fullest. She cares a lot about her family, especially her sisters. She is often seen as funny and observant. Josafina would be the perfect Chi O due to the love for life.

Kirsten, Phi Mu

Kirsten is a great fit for Phi Mu for lots of reasons. According to the books, her favorite color is pink (one of Phi Mu's colors). Phi Mu is good for her because she is always lending a helping hand and wanting to help out her family and her friends.

Molly, Zeta Tau Alpha

Molly is perfect for Zeta Tau Alpha because she loves life and wants to live it to the fullest. She is a good friend and loves glamour, just like a Zeta "seeking beauty with it's enriching influence." Molly wants to be a leader, so a crown would be a perfect fit for her. So welcome to Zeta, Miss Molly!

Kaiely, Delta Delta Delta

Kailey was the American Girl doll of the year of the year in 2003, the prime of when my generation is growing up. Kailey is the perfect girl for Tri Delta. She grew up next to a beach and spends her time trying to bring awareness to saving sea animals, including the dolphin, which is one of Tri Delta's symbols. Kailey would be the perfect Tri Delta because she stands up for what she believes in and speaks up for causes that need attention.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
