How to put our hope in God? This is one of the biggest questions we all want an answer to. Many of us go through life hoping that we will make it to the end of it and be able to find our answers. We pray, we think about our situation and we try to change it one way or another.
But if we don't put our hope in Him, we will never find satisfaction. So how do we accomplish this task? There are quite a few ways to go about it. We can hope and pray, give up and get discouraged, be depressed and feel hopeless, or just try and do everything in our power to make things better.
The best thing we can do right now is to put our hope and prayers into the hands of Almighty. If He wants us to have hope, He will certainly give us hope. He has been used by countless others before us to overcome great adversity and He will do it again for us.
There are several places where you can go today to obtain help and encouragement. One way is by visiting your local church. There are usually very good Christian ministries and churches who want to take you in and work with you.
Another place is by watching a video message from a pastor, preachers, televangelists, or other Christian on YouTube. They will encourage you to look at God's Word daily and then put your hope and trust in Him to do what it says. In addition, I highly recommend that you look for a movie called "The Power Of One." It will open your eyes to how simple it is to believe God when He promises you His word and tells you that you are going to be successful. There are quite a few of these videos online and you can go ahead and watch them.
Go back to the top of this page and write down the name of one person today who is living the life that He promised and told us that he would do. Put their picture next to that and then think about how important that person is to you and if you can do anything to help them in their life. You might find out something about them that you didn't know and it could really make a difference in your life. So, just go ahead and do something for someone today. The thought of doing that is enough to inspire and give hope to you.
