Finals week is one of the most emotionally draining periods of our college careers. If you’re like me, then you’re doing everything in your power not to think about it. You're trying to avoid work at all cost, but there comes a point when you run out of ideas. You don’t want to write that paper, but you’re tired of watching "Gossip Girl" re-runs on Netflix (lol jk you never get tired of "Gossip Girl"). Here are some more creative forms of procrastination that are sure to add some spice to your life.
1. Mow the lawn
Is the grass on your quad unbearably tall? Does in poke your legs when you sit on it? Do everyone else a favor and trim that baby down. It sounds really fun and it’ll keep your mind off of less important things.
2. Duct tape your local trashcan
Add a pop of color to your campus by wrapping one of the trash bins in bright neon colors. Not only will this fill your glum peers with momentary joy, but it’ll help kill some time.
3. Give yourself a hair cut
Need a new look? Why not be your own hairdresser for a day? With YouTube anything is possible!
4. Climb a tree
The less experience you have with tree climbing, the more exciting it’ll be. It’ll give you a whole new perspective on life.
5. Make a costume and wear it around campus
Make it really elaborate so that everyone around you is confused. You’ll get a great kicker out of it and gain cool points.
6. Paint a rock
You can use actual paint, or nail polish. This is a great way to display your artistic ability/inability. Also, you can give it a name and make it your friend. New friends are always a plus!
7. Dig a hole

8. Host a water fight
It’s getting warmer out, so why not cool down with a hose and some water guns? Make a secret group on Facebook and invite even your most distant friends. The more the merrier.
9. Learn Latin
I am sure that there's an app for this. You've got time, figure it out!
10. Choreograph a dance routine for toddlers
You can find said toddlers at your local elementary school or ice cream store (Don't steal kids!). Teach them how to tango, teach them how to dab, teach them how to do both!
11. Make a pizza
I've saved the best for last. The question isn't "why make a pizza," but rather "Why the hell not?" Putting off your work is a tough job, so make sure you stay well fed and energized.
